The Prince of Wales plans to participate in the COP30 climate summit in Brazil during November, as announced by royal officials.
Prince William and King Charles made a joint appearance on Thursday night at a reception leading up to the climate summit, which is set to be held in the Amazonian city of Belem.
Father and son were participating in the museum gathering, marking an unusual joint appearance at a environmental conference preliminary meeting co-hosted by the United Kingdom administration.

The King has been a consistent supporter of environmental conservation - and Prince William has inherited the mission, with his own environmental prize initiative, which will be taking place in South America preceding the climate conference.
Palace insiders have portrayed the Prince's participation at the upcoming climate summit as stepping up an important role in "climate diplomacy".

The monarch and his heir, making a joint entrance in the state Bentley, were greeted participants featuring conservation experts, researchers, environmental activists, foreign representatives and politicians.
This engagement featured addresses in concert with French leader Macron of France and other world leaders at the Ocean Finance Summit in the Principality of Monaco during the current year.

The UN meeting will align with the the royal's climate innovation prizes, which will finish in Rio de Janeiro the eve of he attends the COP summit on November 6th.
